EveryLang is capable of translating text, from simple words to entire phrases. It uses online services, but it lets you work on a desktop user interface. The application has a simple design and a straightforward functionality. It gives you the possibility of translating anything on the fly, between various languages.

The software comes in free and Pro versions. It is compatible with all modern Windows versions and you can have it up and running in no time. The hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any special tools or services.

The user interface has an efficient and familiar design. It consists of two identical text boxes, as well as a few drop-down menus. All you have to do is type or paste your original text in the left box, select the source and target language and hit a Translate button. The translation will appear in a few seconds in the right box. In many cases, you don't even need to select the source language, because the application is capable of auto-detecting the source language.

EveryLang lets you choose a different translation engine as well. You can instantly switch to Google, Yahoo or Yandex, by selecting one of these services in a drop-down menu, on the same user interface. Other features include a spell checker, clipboard monitor, diary and much more, but you will need to upgrade to the software's Pro version for some of these features.

With EveryLang, you can translate large amounts of text, to and from numerous languages, with nothing more than a single click.

Pros

You can translate text from the comforts of your desktop. The application supports numerous languages. Also, it lets you choose between three different translation engines.

Cons

You may occasionally encounter an error when translating via Google.
